Total Health and Fitness facilities in Utah are equipped with the tools and trainers you need to find success in our wellness program. We don’t believe in just letting clients loose in a gym with a list of exercises to do each day. No Diets

In addition to exercises that help each person reach their personal goals, we offer nutritional coaching. This means you won’t be stuck on a trendy diet that you will inevitably “fail.” With our sustainable meal planning guides, you’re set up for success. Custom meal prepping will be based on your body’s needs, including gluten-free, vegetarian, and even vegan. If you have a friend or family member struggling to make changes to their lifestyle, our approach to eating is a great option for them. They won’t face restrictive meal options, and our expert dieticians ensure there is variety from week to week.

Exercise Plans

When you give the gift of our wellness program, the exercise will vary weekly as well. This helps prevent boredom and plateaus in a person’s fitness journey. We believe in simply starting where you are, and gradually doing more. It’s a great way to ease into a new program without feeling overwhelmed. On the flip side, even those familiar with exercise will find ways to grow in strength and stamina in our wellness program. 

Online Fitness Programs

Total Health and Fitness are proud to offer online services, which are especially helpful during this time. This means when you give the gift of health to someone you love, they can access our certified personal trainers and dieticians remotely. 

Since accountability is a key element to success, we offer weekly check-in for members of our wellness program. Whether online or in-person, check out what we offer to our participants:

  • Weekly consultation with a nutritionist and personal trainer
    • The initial consultation to discuss the course of action is free, and be performed online, over the phone or in person.
    • Your wellness coach will provide motivation for you to work toward your goals, as well as reports that detail your progress.
  • Customized meal plans
    • Recipes included will be based on the custom wellness program developed for the individual.
  • Customized exercise plans
    • These include both cardio and resistance work to help an individual reach his/her goals.
    • Exercises can be performed at home, in the office, outside or in our facilities. 

To keep you on track to meet your wellness goals, your weekly accountability check will not focus on the numbers you see on the scale. Instead, progress reports will detail the following:

  • Body fat percentage
  • Lean muscle mass
  • Water weight
  • Metabolic rate

Your weekly report will also include any other science that shows the impact of your meal planning and exercise efforts. And you won’t have to read those statistics on your own; your personal trainer, dietitian and nutrition coach will help you interpret the information so you understand your progress. Our intention is that you’ll eventually break the habit of depending on the scale for good news, and will instead focus on how the body feels and functions.

The weekly consultation also serves as the time during which you can discuss how you feel about the current meal plans, exercise routines and your overall success. Customizations can be made to tweak your wellness program and talk about any setbacks or reservations you may be having.
